Touch screen issues
After less than two weeks of ownership, my D5 was back in the dealers this week as I had two issues with the Touch Screen.
1. I was trying to use the InControl Apps, and the whole system 'blanked' out with a black screen. After about 5 minutes, the system rebooted itself.
2. Got back in the car after a temporary stop, and no sound came out of the system (Radio, Media, Phone) for the rest of the journey. Fortunately, I was on my way to the dealer, so they witnessed it. As expected switching the car off and back on resolved the issue.
When I picked my car up, they said they had found fault codes and have updated the system, so I’ll see how it works. As I said to them it was a shame these weren’t applied before I originally picked the car up!
More importantly, they said an update was due out from LR in the next month or so, and they will contact me when it is available.
