Spare wheel
Hello to all. I have a Discovery with seven seats. Can anyone tell me how I can check the spare tire pressure? I do not see the valve because the wheel is mounted with the inner side down.
Thank you.

I think the spare is fitted with a sensor so it should indicate if there is a problem. Short of that you would need to winch the spare down to a point where you could access the valave

Correct, the user guide states that the spare is monitored as long as you have the TPMS system. Just search TPMS in the guide.

And it works - the recent cold weather probably let to a slight drop in the pressure of my spare. I got a dash warning. Spare was installed at factory with valve facing rear of car so it was easy to lower it and pump it up a bit.

To be clear, I think it only monitors for low pressure - my vehicle information display does not show its actual pressure, but I know from having a puncture last fall that it will tell you "check spare tire pressure!" until you acknowledge the warning. The vehicle is smart though - it immediately recognized that I had swapped the spare and a drive wheel.
Best to inflate it to rear tire pressure unless you carry a compressor.

this may have been asked in another thread, but will a full size wheel fit in the spare space?

Yes a full size spare wheel will fit under the space. I had 22 inch full size spare.
