What’s it like Economy wise ? I’m getting better than expected consumption from mine, we had a 2.0 Litre at work as a loaner last week and it was definately different to mine, more hesitant, on pick up at lights and clunky on roundabouts, more wind noise as well some how, not sure if it was the door seal, wind direction or just a noisy engine. Or a combination of all 3.

Mind you I popped my bonnet this morning for the fist time, just under 1,000 miles and my screen wash has vanished, 3 nozzles on the front screen and the headlights soon emptied that,

I thought I’d got the 2.0 litre Shocked

The engine looks tiny in the bay.

Same here, Just tried taking it steady though from new and flicking through various screens and also logging journeys on the app I tried to see just how economical I could get it,

My previous to this car a VW Touareg wasn’t very economical at all. And it had the 100 Litre fuel tank option, so that was eventful.

Glad to be back in a Disco though, looking forward to getting the camping trailer hitched up and getting some camping in, up until now I’ve managed to steer clear of the Tin Tent but feel that it’s becoming inevitable.

Best trip so far was a leisurely (no hard acceleration and cruising around 70 on the motorway) drive to London from South Shropshire. Indicated 46MPG until I hit London. Then it plunged to a heady 36MPG.

Good enough for me for such a large car.

    I’m at 30.1 in my 3.0

I know I get around 34 in the 2.0 for the same driving, so I’m happy with that
