does the D5 havea fuel burning heater? if so is it like the D4 one and comes on as required at cold ambient startup or can it be programmed like RRV and RRS?
cant say I have really needed this but I think if I was in the Yukon or NWT I may be greatful for it. To be honest I am not sure how common they are out here

FBH warms up the engine and with it the interior fast.
I had FBH in my D3 and when it broke down in winter, you noticed it. With FBH the car heats up within five to ten minutes even in -30C temperatures. Without it, it takes forever (well, longer than my commute).
I have the FBH in my Si6. It warms the cabin using the timed climate feature, or it will pre-heat the engine if it's colder than -20, but not both at the same time.
I have an Eberspächer with the optional Remote Park Heat with Timed Climate (works with app also) Strange that it is not a Webasto, I thought they are standart by car manufacturers.
P.S.: I also have so much loosen adhesive tape in the engine bay. As I have seen it for the first time was like WTF quality car I've bought. Very strange for me.

EDIT <incorrect> some models also have optional timed climate via the touchscreen or via the optional remote
