My new dealer in Denver stated it’s only being installed on vehicles with ‘significant ‘ issues, when I requested the phase 4 update during my first maintenance service visit. Anyone else heard of this policy?

Nope. I just emailed them and it’s booked in Tuesday to be upgraded. I guess it depends on your dealer.

The list of bug fixes is huge.

I can’t imagine ICTP has anything to do with the door locking system. Maybe they updated something else and that’s fooked it ?

Hum - have to admit I am completely confused -
I am still waiting for 'phase 3' to be updated on to my car.
Am told there are still issues with phase 3 & RSE - the 2 seem to conflict?
    Now there is 'phase 4'
    Does this supersede phase 3?
Can I go from where I am (I guess phase2?) straight phase 4?

Does anyone have an idiot guide (for me) that shows what phase 2 has/had, what phase 3 added or improved & what phase 4 now does?

To be honest it frightens the hell out of me - as the more times my car gets 'plugged in for an update' the more issues I seem to come out with?

I am not even sure JLR knows the answer to your question...

Seems to be more a try & error approach when they fiddle with software
