HERE maps - not impressed!
Downloading the latest Europe Map - the download speed reminds me of using dial-up Internet.
Estimated time over 5 hours ! ! ! [I have over 72Mps download speed according to Speedtest.]
Why didn't JLR go with one of the better map providers rather than HERE WeGo?
Cost probably.[say no more]
[edit] Just checked progress - it's downloaded 12% but now says 6 hours 40 minutes remaining -

Hope it’s better than the D4 satnag. GoogMaps is your friend.

Which provider would you rather use?
Most manufacturers use HERE, i.e. Audi, BMW, Honda, Lexus, Volvo, etc? -

Well I had no such problems with Navtec or TomTom in car and Garmin on a satnav unit
It's OK, I'm retired so plenty of nothing time to occupy me -

Dunno what time it finished Del, I had to go out at 5pm to a BBQ

It’s the first in car Nav I’ve actually used daily. Previous systems were
. Used TomTom app for years because of this but now it’s hardely ever used.
Map updates are very regular. Yes 24GB (on average) takes a while to download but only about 10 mins to apply to the car.
