    Will be interested in how/where you store the ladder.
    Was standing in the top of the D3 today....so much easier when you can just climb up using the rear ladder.
    Having a separate ladder is a bit of faff .

    Right now I am thinking if keeping the ladder in the inside Load space, but I do agree a D2/3/4 ladder arrangement would make more sense.

    But at least I could use the ladder for clean g windows or apple picking Rolling with laughter

    Looks like Front Runner have introduced a clamp on mounting https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/u...r-kit.html

    Should make fitting and demounting easier, but I would be worried it is not as solid as the first version

    should be fine. I have 6 clamps mounting (Thule) on the rooftop tent and it is very solid.

    Interesting, LR introduced their own roof rack kit. Looks good and no need for the rails.

    The expedition rails look good and quite useful but turned out to be a real pain to disassemble when I need to install the roof top tent. Unfortunately it does not suit with it. (I have a quick tent mount from frontrunner.)
