    Incontrol issues.

    Picked up my my17 lux yesterday. Noticed that some of left hand side of the touchscreen doesnt work for various letters.

    Also its coming up service 800mile. Its apparently just been serviced.

    Amy ideas?

    Take it straight back and make sure all updates have been applied as well as report the fault.

    Do you think could just be software? Be gutted if we lose the car for any amount of time.

    Would they have to supply a courtesy car?

    Well I would kick up a stink and demand a loan car, software updates to the infotainment system come along at a regular basis and it is best to start with the latest.

    They should have updated it but I suspect that they did not bother, what do mean about the left hand side of the screen?
    Are you talking about when you have a keyboard displayed for entering data? If so, not sure that is a software problem.

    Yes mate so for eg the A doesnt work along with other letters on the left.

    Whats annoying is, I asked if all updates would be applied before i signed.

    Being a 17MY veh i'm not sure what updates there are available ? i think there is one No180 ?

    Left hand side of the screen not working is a known issue with my17 and early software versions.

    I agree it sounds more like the screen is faulty.
