Satellite Radio question - fav artist or song
Does the satellite radio have the option to set a music artist or song as a favorite and alert you when it comes on any Sat channel?
My 2016 Jeep Wrangler does that and I am really enjoying knowing what favorite artist is playing without flipping through the channels. It would be wonderful if the D5 system has that feature.

I believe you guys use the Syrius satellite radio system in the states whereas we use DAB/ DAB+, Digital audio broadcast. It's possible that your system is more advanced than the UK and let's you use the favourites feature. However am being totally honest as I don't know the answer. Sorry. Maybe look at the online manual may help you.??

I had no idea there isn't satellite radio overseas.
Yes, we have Sirius XM service as our satellite radio here in America. It's all I listen to. It is nice to drive 8000 miles and listen to the same type music if I want to without interruption of signal unlike FM radio.
I did have a look at the online manual, in doesn't seem to go into that much detail on Sirius XM favorites except to save a particular channel just like FM radio. I thought I just ask owners for quick answer until I just learned Sirius isn't available over the pond.

Well technically speaking we do have satellite radio via Sky satellite TV, which enables us too watch TV channels and listen too satellite radio through our TV or via a connected hifi. Plus there are stand alone portable internet radios and Dab radios. But am afraid we don't have Internet radios in the cars unlike in the States.

My SiriusXM freebie ended yesterday. I had thought it was a 3 month trial and maybe it was if the thing was activated two weeks before I picked the vehicle up!
What ever no point getting huffy about it.
One thing I have noted is that the advert channel for want of a better term that is broadcasting on the radio uses a US number and quote a 6 month introductory offer of $30USD, The Canadian website has no such offer and I cannot even subscribe online because I live in Quebec. I am guessing this has something to do with the language laws.
Moan over, now where is my old 8 track
Whats the difference between an Airbus 320 and a flight crew.? The 320 stops whining when it lands.
I will get my coat
