    Txt to Voice or Voice to txt

    Surprised they did not add this, or even the ability to reply to a txt whilst driving...

    what does that have todo with voice to txt or txt to voice? The whole point in the txt voice is it acts like a hands free phone call

    It's the Highway Code advice against hands free text & stuff, also the reason car makers stopped voice control navigation system.

    Advice but not law Smile, like drinking a drink whilst driving in my view... Anyway other manufactures still offer this, and voice control is still part of the LR offering, for calls, radio etc etc

    I got this reply when enquiring about JustDrive availability and it may answer the OP questiont:

    Thank you for contacting us and for your interest in our app.
    Unfortunately, the InControl Touch Pro head unit in your vehicle is not voice control capable yet and will have to go through a service update process once it's available by JLR.

    As soon as this software service update is available, we will work on adjusting our app to support it, but at this point of time I am afraid I can not provide you with a date.

    Sounds good, hopefully they will also be able to add the text to voice functionality as well..
