Thanks Jon, but this was in fact an honest question.
There is a strange squeak. It is not from the transmission as I could reproduce it when the car was stationary.
Doesn't always do it.
Throttle body was replaced today, but sound still there.

Squeak!
Also bought a squeaking Discovery last year. To cut a long story short, yes brakes etc were checked etc , turned out it was the spare wheel! Had to be un wound and removed and grease applied to mechanism and problem completely solved and no more random squeaking !

Small update.
LR don't have time to take a look for the next 2 weeks, so went to a friendly independent garage that I know (not LR specialist!!).
They took a look immediately, and it seems that the issue is the exhaust pressure control valve.
So... at least it is not something critical, and can wait until the appointment that I have been given by LR so that it is covered under warranty.
Has anyone here had this issue?
Anyone know how much & how long that repair will take?

Hello, in my case it started to make a kind of squeaking at times and in a few days it did so from the moment the engine was started, it was a noise like a bearing that has run out of grease, sometimes it sounded and sometimes it didn't. It was the fuel pump and they changed it under the used vehicle warranty. Excuse me for my English, I use a translator
