Pedal Commander
HI,
I was looking at the lag from starting on the Disco, I came across the Pedal Commander and the Roar Pedal, it states it eliminates lag and you can change the driving modes
has anyone fitted one and are they any good?

Which model/engine and model year of Discovery 5 do you have and exactly what do you mean by “lag from starting“?

The reason why I suspect the EGR valves is that I had a Discovery 3 with a 2.7 litre TDV6 engine which on a couple of occasions had a fault which meant that when you put your foot down to accelerate at a junction or roundabout there was a long hesitation before the engine started to develop power and move forward. However, once moving the engine behaved normally. Thus you had to wait until there were large gaps in the traffic before attempting to enter the junction or roundabout. On both occasions problem was the EGR valves.
