Fault with Battery Charging System
Had a red warning light and Fault with Battery Charging System indicated.
The garage believes it may be the Dc/Dc converter which appears to be a new fault that is happening quite frequently.
Does anyone else know of this
Car is only three and half years old

Exactly this…
I’ve just had mine fixed, exactly the same fault. Luckily had a warrantywise warranty so got it covered, but I am wondering if it’s caused by water ingress. I’d check your carpets for dampness as well as getting it fixed.
Mine is also 3yrs and 4months old.
Also told it’s happening a lot by Green Oval, a Land Rover Independent specialist.

Thanks for the reply
Not too long ago had the windscreen replaced from a leak . That was under warranty
Also told that the Dc/Dc converter is now becoming common

I’m not 100% sure, but the Dc/Dc could be consequential from water ingress. I’d keep that to yourself because water ingress isn’t covered in most warranty’s, but just so you know, it might be worth noting should any other electronics start to play up.
Please do fill in the Google form regarding your Screen issue, it all helps even if you’re a happy customer now.
