Common sense would suggest it needs the trim panel removing from the inside of the tailgate, so I'll start there...

    It's really easy.

    1. Remove the torx screw from the handle inside the boot lid.
    2. pull off the panel inside the boot lid. Apart from the screw you've already removed, its just clips that pull off.
    3. Disconnect the interior boot closing switch
    4. Remove the interior LED lights
    5. Put the panel somewhere safe.
    6. Disconnect the camera washer hose
    7. Remove the (6 I think) nuts that hold the external trim strip in place. (don't remove the (3 each side) nuts that hold the lights in place).
    8. Pop the trim strip off.
    9. disconnect the camara cable from the back of the camera
    10. unclip the camera from inside the trim strip.
11 do all of the above in reverse.

Followed the above, and apart from NOT disconnecting the washer hose as there was sufficient length on the hose to allow the external trim strip to pull forwards, I have successfully changed the rear view camera on our Disco 5 this weekend. New camera is crystal clear and cost just £60 off eBay !!

    Thanks !!!

Excellent news... I wish it were just my camera at fault on mine. Thumbs Up
