Hi Peter, hang in there mate. Don't be so hasty. Your one of the lucky ones who have had no trouble, so am a bit puzzled too say the least, why the rash decision?
I have probably had more problems than the rest of the guys on the D5 forum put together. Just unlucky I suppose as it's the FIRST EDITIONS that are mostly having the issues, plus the dealers not helped my situation either. I am merely a drop in the ocean so too speak.
Am still not giving up though, plus no matter what anyone said or told me I will not be scared off into selling my car.
I was in 2 minds whether too post my car issues, but if I kept quiet, no one would believe me, with all the issues I have had, plus I did not want other unfortunates too suffer the same nightmare am still suffering. Not only that, it's been embarassing for me posting all my issues up, plus I was in no way having a go at other D5 owners, as was only referring too my vehicle, not tarring them all with the same brush. Also LR monitor these sites like a Hawk, so I was hoping LR picks up on what's been happening too my car.
I just hope that after you read my tuppence worth, that you will come too your senses. No matter what 4X4 your getting, you will never have anything that comes close too the LR, plus you will regret it mate.
Like I said in a post yesterday, they are flawless when working correctly. I would never even entertain anything else brand wise for a full size 4 x 4 as nothing comes remotely close, plus as I have said before, if it's good enough for Her Majesty it's good enough for me
