    My 2L is a constant surprise at how good it is. Plenty of power and very relaxed cruising. Getting 36MPG on average. Well impressed with it.

    Simon/Stu...quick question if i may. Are you able to share when you placed your order, and subsequently received a build date for you MY18 Disco?

    Only ask as I placed my order on 21st Sept... and was sent a build date for a MY17. Requested a MY18... and didn't receive confirmation of a MY18 slot until 26th Oct. just wondering how my dates tie up with yours.

    I ordered a HSE Lux Si6 on the 11th September and I've been given a build date of the 22nd December.

    I understand that the switchover to MY18 was the 13th November.......

    Mine was an ex LR managment car (1,200 miles on the clock - they change them as soon as poss at 1K miles I'm told - so it arrived 10 days or so after I agreed to have it. Wasn't a factory order or company car.

    If I ordered via my company, (probably like Stu) I would put my request in and have to wait with no idea of supplying dealer or a build slot date. Only the fleet management company would get access to this as they are the owners of the vehicle ultimately.

    As I take an allowance for a vehicle I choose who supplies it and if its factory order or a pre-enjoyed car. In my case my local dealer Thumbs Up

    LOL. That’s what I was told by an engineering lead in the new straight 6 Ingenium. She was driving the new PHEV RRS (left hand drive too).
