It was an extra cost option called "intelligent seat fold". Not a standard feature.
In fact, some of the newest models have fully manual seats in row 2 & 3.

I haven't tried starting the FBH from the app when the car is unlocked. The app can't start the engine unless the car is locked, I don't know about the FBH as that's only just been added to the app.

Spinning means it's already running.
When it's not spinning you should be able to tap it then choose the engine or FBH as the heat source.

If it's a warmish day, only the fans will run. It needs to be a cool day (15C or less I think) to get the burner to fire.

On a cool day (less than 16C) it warms the cabin. On a warm day (over 16C) it vetnilates the cabin by just running the fans to blow ambient temperature air.

On Android, it matches the device settings. If you go to your phone's settings and search for "dark mode" you can change it.
