• Whine in low range

• Having reviewed the noise last night, I have decided that there isn’t a problem after all. The transfer box seems to conform to your descriptions in that it’s pretty quiet up to about 15mph.

• It does indeed change the binnacle display to Pivi sat nav, but it defaults back to Apple Maps the next time you start the car.
