Reassuring! Thanks very much. Yeah i think each one of the cars i've seen had both sides in this condition.
Maybe they are ones adjusted too far the other way by a JLR technician.

What makes you so sure it’s the roof leaking and not the windscreen? A significant number of water in the footwell start with the dreaded JLR windscreen plague.
