Picked up a chip whilst travelling in Portugal and Spain.
When I got home I tried getting a repair done, but it was still visible following the repair, so I got the whole screen changed.
I was fairly nervous about the prospect but these guys have done an excellent job, all credit to them and the insurance company.
It was a genuine Land Rover replacement screen and whilst the cameras had to be re-calibrated by Land Rover, the Windscreen replacement company booked the dealer appointment and paid the invoice, in turn all picked up by the insurance company.
Great service and a good job
That's exactly what I was worried about, but thankfully these guys didn't leave any marks.
Is your dealer subcontracting to a windscreen company or doing it in-house?
I took the view that I'd rather have people doing it who do this stuff every day !
When I had a D4 windscreen replaced by the local main dealer, they simply punted it to Autowindscreen. I found like you, they did a decent job, although some peps say to avoid, but what option do you have?

Being done at the dealer by a windscreen chap that does all their screens. I'm sure it will be fine

How long did you have to wait for the screen? Mine was delivered with a chip and I'm still waiting for them to contact me to arrange an appointment. I'd heard the screens were on back order?
