    This is supposedly coming first to a Range Rover Sport HST, a special edition.

    Would love to see an inline six with an electric supercharger and mild hybrid "help" at low RPM in my D5...but I'd like it to be a diesel. For the torques.

    hmm with a Petrol/Gasoline particulate filter....so even petrol engines will have joys of exhaust filters....

    Volvo is doing this today - their T6 is a turbo/supercharger and their T8 adds a hybrid assist, but neither the turbo nor the supercharger is powered electrically. Sadly it's only a 4 cylinder so it sounds terrible, but together the T8 makes around 400HP and 472lb-ft. I would think an inline 6 should be good for over 300HP by itself with either a turbo or a supercharger, so maybe they've got this in a fairly tame state of tune for longevity rather than high-strung performance....

    A couple of month's probably - they don't tell us when they're coming until they're ready for collection. A nice surprise to get though. Only on 8K at the moment as I'm not driving home as much.
