      That sounds like the system is connecting and disconnecting to the phone and relaunching ACP each time.

      Just downloaded the new IOS 12.3.1, onto my iPhone 8, not really made any difference, however if I disconnect the lead from the phone after I’ve answered during ACP, then reconnect almost instantly, it works correctly. Strange but still not quite right. Will buy an original Apple lead this week see if that makes a difference.
Any updates from others appreciated.

      Mine still seems to be working ok for phone calls and not seen the 4x4 info keep popping up again. 
I’m using an MFI (not the furniture people  

 ) certified cable from Belkin.

      This is my first post and hopefully a helpful one.  My wife, who was on iOS 12.3.1 was having the same issue of no audio being heard by the caller or recipient yet I wasn’t having the issue at all. I then realised I was on the beta of iOS 12.4 - I installed the beta of iOS 12.4 on my wife’s iPhone and instant success.

      Curiosity got the better of me. I Googled “Car Play” to see what it was. 
I can’t see why anyone would want to connect their iPhone to the car, but then £10 PAYG credit literally lasts a year with me and most of the time I forget and leave the phone in the house or it runs out of charge and I don’t listen to music.

      SUCCESS AT LAST.

      Hopefully fixes it. ACP seems to launch almost immediately again now which is a bonus.
