    When the problem occurred on my 2020 Landmark, the LR Assist technician moved the earth cable onto this alternative post. As stated earlier in the thread, this location is not suitable long term, but it got me through until the dealer could undertake the permanent fix.

    I thought I would share my alternative earth post used this weekend after finding a dead car. I am not sure if this car has had the recall but after reading that owners have had the recall fail on them, I don’t intend to find out or change this.



    I think that the cable looks less stressed compared to the LR assist fix and the larger bolt size gives me confidence that this will maintain a good connection.
