    Rear brake pad change

    Hi

Does anyone have a drawing or information about how to remove the rear brake pads? I have removed the usual two bolts but the D5 assembly is different. Big Cry

Jack car up, put on axle stands, select neutral and release parking brake, switch off ignition and remove electrical connector from park brake wheel module, remove park brake motor. use torx to rotate park brake piston off. spread brake pads, remove caliper bolts and remove caliper. Do the same in reverse.
before adjusting park brake , pump brake pedal a few times to bed pads,

Not if you hold the park brake lever / button down when powering off. Stops it auto engaging.

The park brake uses the rear brake pads. As per harrythespider post you have to back off the park brake mechanism to release the rear calliper carrier.
