Looks like some sort of press embargo has been lifted. First UK review...

Interesting he says interior trim feels cheaper whereas the one above says it's more premium. Autoexpress not exactly a glowing review.

he obviously liked the gloss black (usually scratched) plastic console of the earlier one. Have to admit the dynamic chassis control can only be an improvement even though Mr Autoexpress didn't think so....

@adds58 - there would have been a date embargo that JLR press would have set (to the publications/reviewers) so the reviews/information didn't complete/clash with the recent Defender news. Smile

here's the (US) Car And Driver review. Overall, not really fans in the face of competition (note where they rank it). They too reviewed it in the UK.

Using the third row seats reduces boot space. Who’d have thought it!?

You're in a very different market to the west of the pond..... the third row is cramped (pretty sure it has the most room of any 7 seat SUV in Europe) and isn't very luxurious????

In Europe of course it is a huge car and barely fits into any parking spaces.

and then there is this line: "Luxury features abound throughout the cabin" which apparently C&D immediately forgot about when writing the synopsis. Wink

oddly, one of the dings against their #1 ranked Genesis GV80 is no diesel in the U.S., Thankfully they completely ignored that fact for the Disco review or it wouldn't have even received an Honorable Mention. Smile

Evo - "Unless you need seven seats a Defender does the Disco’s job better"

and which job might that be? is the Defender 130 out, did I miss the launch??

Am I mistaken or is the new steering wheel a bit beefier than the one of the previous model?
    Would be good thing IMHO.
