    Mine also has electronic deployable tow bar and low box - suspect both of these have helped delay it (in addition to the 2.5l diesel being dropped).

    WMDISCO… what do you mean by “2.5L diesel being dropped”?

    I didn’t think that the D5 was ever available with a 2.5L engine (petrol or diesel)

    Do you mean the D250 (which was in fact a 2.0L 4 cylinder ingenium engine?

    D250 is actually a 3.0l I6D ingenium, lowered powered version of D300. The D240 was the 2.0l I4D used in first generation Disco 5.

    thanks for the correction... it still doesn't explain what was meant by the 2.5L diesel because to my knowledge that never existed.

    My bad - yes I meant D250. Its so long ago I cannot remember! Actually happier to have D300 but couldn't initially justify the extra cost! Currently have a 2018 2L Disco 5 - so looking forward to some extra power.
