Diesel Exhaust Fluid Low,
A couple of months ago I had the following warning come up on the dash: "Diesel Exhaust Fluid Low, Refill Required Within 1000 miles".
At the time I put in over 1 litre of AdBlue but the warning message has stayed on ever since and it has also disappeared from the settings menu.
I have the dreaded MOT tomorrow so wanted to get rid of it beforehand.
I put about another half litre in again tonight but the message stayed the same, any idea of how to get rid of it.
Is it possible to overfill the reservoir? otherwise how can I tell how much is in there.
Thanks

The tank is about 10l so adding 1l probably didn’t increase the level enough to get rid of the warning.
I believe some people have overfilled the tank, but I always put 10L in when I fill it and haven’t ever had any issues.

Put at least 5 litres in, tank is about 17 litres total, will take a 10 litre container when warning comes up.

Many thanks.
When I originally googled it the decimal point was obviously in the wrong place
Will have to go out and get 10 litres this evening.

Take your time pouring it in, does help to have the front of the car higher than rear, tank is actually under middle row of seats so it needs to displace the air out of the filler system so will blow back through the filler if you poor in too quick.
