[quote="Narpy"]Front end transformation just about complete now. Have done the black bonnet lettering and the air scoop inserts today also in black to compliment last weeks grille change.
Hi Narpy.. where did you get the air inserts from and are the two teeth separate from the kidney shaped grille piece. I want the two horizontal teeth but don't want to remove the grille part.
Cheers
The air-scoop fins come as a 3 part kit... 2 fins and the kidney shaped vent insert. You can't buy them separately as far as I know. I've never had to fit them as the Bling Barge came with them already fitted...
I got 90% of my accessories and add-ons from these guys, they're very good. If it can be stuck into or onto a Land Rover...they've probably got it and at a much better price than official LR parts. They have lots of how to fit videos as well. Can't recommend them highly enough
I've still got this to do on the Bling Barge...been too windy these last few days to do an outdoor job and the workshop is full of tractors and Disco 2 bits

Check eBay for sellers, thereās loads of options. I bought an after market kit for under Ā£30 and it looks OEM, very easy to install too. The two teeth are indeed separate so you donāt have to use everything if you donāt wish.šš»
I used this eBay seller but thereās plenty to choose from: https://ebay.us/m/2yMZ0T

The only problem I keep finding with Ebay sellers is that a fair few of them refuse to post to the Scottish islands...No idea why, the postie still passes my door every day same as anywhere on the mainland.
Consequently, I sometimes have to pay a couple of quid extra for after market accessories and the like than I would buying from some enterprising Chinese dude on Ebay. I don't pay anything near LR official merchandise prices of course, so I don't mind a few quid here and there... as long as it's good quality after market stuff and not some cheap plastic tat.
The guys at PowerfulUK sell proper quality gear and they test fit everything they sell, usually including a how to fit video on the store page. They have free shipping too, which is a bonus.
The Ebay sellers island exclusion thing is kinda unique to me of course...but it's annoying all the same

Fitted the door bump strips on the Bling Barge this afternoon...a few more black plastic bits added. Still far too windy to attempt the bonnet vinyl though. I'll finish replacing the injector seals on the old TD5 D2 this afternoon and get it out of the workshop to make some space. 2 injectors to do, refit the camshaft, do the valve clearances and button it up...job done
The wonderful Bosch TD5 engine. Still arguably the best engine ever fitted into a Land Rover
With the camshaft removed...
Improvised injector removal tool...a leg off a small bearing puller sharpened on the grinder...
New and old injector seals and O rings for comparison...the D2 was chuffing like a steam train on the old seals...Cleaned the injectors too when I had them out.
The Bling Barge Before adding the new black plastic bits...
