Any idea how to get the screen back on?

Mine did that once...I switched the ignition off, got out, locked and unlocked the car...got back in, ignition on and pressed the steering wheel volume control up button for about 30 secs. The LR logo then appeared and it was back to normal.
I tried finding where I read this tip but can't for the life of me find it...I'll see if I can dig anything else up. If I find it or anything else related, I'll post it up...
I also found this tip which makes more sense:
To reset the black center screen on a Discovery 5, press and hold the media power button (the central volume knob) until the screen goes blank and the brand logo appears. This should complete the reset process.

Nice one Moley. I went out to the car after about 2 hours and normal service was resumed but I’ll try the screen reset when it happens again, because I know it will.
It’s the second time it’s blanked out on me.😩
