Mine has no FBH so the engine starts. This is the app screen for non FBH cars:

Does your timed climate work from the screen in the car? i.e. is you ”Cabin preconditioning with remote” option fully functional?

Will it work even if the temperature outside is above 5 degrees

    Yes.

On a cool day (less than 16C) it warms the cabin. On a warm day (over 16C) it vetnilates the cabin by just running the fans to blow ambient temperature air.

The 5 or 6 degrees temperature is when it runs automatically alongside the engine to assist engine warm up.

I’ve just unplugged the Fbh waited 10seconds the plugged back In then pressed off for 2 seconds

I’ve then started the car 30 seconds and locked it
So I’ll try the remote in abit to see if it fires up
    🤷🏻‍♂️

Mine is 2017 too... early 2017, first registered in March of that year.

It's an Eberspächer FBH, different brand from the Webasto. I'm checking now to see if it uses the same remote fob...

Here's mine... no idea if the FBH fitted is Webasto or Eberspächer though. Can't get out to the Bling Barge to check...we've got the tail end of hurricane Amy raging over the islands at the moment...90+mph winds Neutral

Aye, an Orkney breeze. It took 2 of us to shut the back door earlier when I went out to feed the cows...me with my back against the wall and feet on the door and my son (who at 6' 4" and a farmer is a fair chunk of human being) with his shoulder on the door Shocked

I'm just waiting for the inevitable power cuts now...I've got the camping stove out of the cupboard in anticipation Neutral
