Actually enjoying the challenge. (I refuse to be beaten Cool

It’s a very small seep which makes it difficult to locate but I am making progress.

Ironically I am switching between a car leak and an equally evasive leak in my cousins central heating.

The only difference is one is gaining water the other is losing it. 😂

Talking about water...the ferries were a bit sporty today since the sea was a tad lumpy. Anyway, we had plenty of time after a trawl around Tesco and Lidl so we went for a spin from Kirkwall to St Margaret's Hope on south Ronaldsay down the side of Scapa Flow.

It was nice letting the Bling Barge stretch it's legs a bit on normal carriageway roads, even for the relatively short jaunt to south Ronaldsay and back to Kirkwall for the afternoon ferry home...The weather was a bit wild but we enjoyed crossing the Churchill barriers whilst being lashed by the sea around the east side of Scapa flow and seeing the old blockships sunk there in 1940 to block the eastern channels after Günther Prien steered his U-boat (U-47) into the Royal Navy fleet anchorage at Scapa in October 1939 and sank the battleship HMS Royal Oak at anchor just a month after the declaration of war...

The Imperial German high seas fleet was also scuttled there by the crews during a rebellion in 1919 after being forcibly detained there after the end of WW1...Scapa flow is one of the premier wreck diving sites in Europe Wink

Anyhoo, enough of the local history before anyone thinks I work for the Orkney tourist board...we had a nice day out Mr. Green
