After having the V3 infotainment update, the car now checks if you have the latest maps.
I had it updated today and then it told me my maps needed updating. Seem to be quite a few changes after this V3 update.

So looking at the map versions, it would seem that there is another update since I downloaded an update on the 17th November.
I updated to version 08.030.0076.154 however there is a version on the inControl website showing 08.030.0078.0151 for the Europe and Russia Map.

Yes I just updated the car this morning, it was only a few days ago that I installed 0077!

Finally the car is becoming more ‘connected’.

That V3 update sounds a must have - need to check again with my dealership that they have it and can apply it.

with my car arriving hopefully this week.. how do i know if i have the latest phase 3? i'm guessing it will as it's not from the factory but just in case

I doubt it will but you can check easily if you have a 4x4 button or a mountain icon on the bottom of the touch screen. Also a light and dark mode theme choice in Home settings.

Ask the dealer to make sure all the software is up to date?

Jimbg yeah but just in case they try to fool me that it is up do date lol na just trying to avoid spending more time than i want to at the dealers instead of going for a drive
