    Are Navigation Pro map updates free ?

    Newbie to the D5 and hope to get my car tomorrow:)

    You would have thought that updates would be free forever these days, what with the ubiquity of phone navigation apps. When you start having to pay for updates, surely people will just revert to using their phone projected onto the screen?

    The DS's SD card based Nav has paid for updates around £90 and are woefully out of date still. 17MY car coming with 2015 maps ! Also Here based so hopefully this isnt the same for the D5 Navigation Pro?

    Update

    After loading the latest maps, the error I reported on the 1st August has been implemented, so they are very quick!

    Here must rely on updates from the Highways Authority regarding road changes and if they are not informed then nothing changes.

    The missing mini-roundabout I reported has been there at least 10 years!!
