  Closing this one off. It was almost two weeks end to end. All works well enough now, with Android and Apple Car Play etc. Over the air updates menu is there, but doesn’t seem to be active.
  
  Can I recommend Inchcape in Guildford, honestly no. They made very little effort and supplied a tiny Evoque and showed no interest in providing a matching car we could fit the family in. Avoid like the plague, they just don’t give a t@as.
