    Battery monitoring

Hi guys just thought I’d share the battery monitor system I’ve just fitted and to be honest for the price and work to fit it’s a nice little gadget

The bolt to secure to the positive was a 8mm x8mm long bolt
13mm socket for the 8mm bolt
10mm socket to undo the neutral earth point

Yeah we’ve discussed this gadget before here: Linky

It’s the same one as I have had on a few earlier Discoveries. Works well in conjunction with a Ctek mod that I think is on the same thread. 😃

That's another thing I've still to get around to, your excellent CTEK front grille mod. I should have done it before winter set in of course Rolling Eyes

    Very smart
I realised this morning I left my gap tool in over night so definitely need to charge it now
Also fitted my ctek tail similar to narpys

    Good effort.
It’s super handy to be able to monitor your battery condition and even handier to be able to plug in your Ctek with the car nose in. On the odd occasion I back onto the driveway, I also have a 13pin charging adaptor for the tow electrics.😉

I’ve got the deployable tow bar so the plug socket tucks itself up into the underside
I’m guessing it’s not advised to go straight to the battery in the rear then

Yeah you can do, that won’t be a problem but I go in via the tow socket so the car can remain locked.
I do have a Ctek connector on the battery but it needs fitting to the panel, it’s one of those bulkhead connectors. The charging cable will run and the tailgate will close with the cable compressing the tailgate seal, in fact, it works just fine.👍🏻
