InControl Journey issues
Hi, is anyone else seeing Journey tracking as straight ‘as the crow flies’, lines and not tracing the actual road route?
Noticed this the last two days.

Yes I’ve noticed it today after I’d been out on a journey this morning.
Very strange.

That’s good then as it means it’s not my car it’s InControl that has an issues.

Oh
I’ve asked CRC but don’t expect a response TBH.
Might try and force a resync from the car to the InControl servers.

Mines done it twice I think maybe 3 times so you aren’t alone. To be honest I didn’t actually think anything about it, just put it down to a blip.

How are you looking at this?
Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

Never had this- always looking at the data, so pretty sure mine does not have this “feature”

I get that on very short journeys in my local area where there are lots of trees or a deep valley blocking the GPS signal?

This is all open road work using the Sat Nav. All journeys have been straight line tracks not following the actual route.

I have never used the app, have you checked what it looks like on the Incontrol web site ?

Usually mine are very accurate.
Edit: Just checked the app and they are OK there as well.

Mine have again the last few days. I know it’s a LR but no way can it drive a straight line from Basingstoke to Shropshire
