    Until I get 18C loaded and the Smartphone Pack I’ll leave my thoughts open. Currently all
    our families iPhones refuse to work properly when plugged into the media ports (USB’s under the central cubby).

    The car forgets anything above 2 paired phones via Bluetooth. My D4 remembered all of them. We have to pair phones constantly. They’re then forgotten after the car has been shutdown.

    Control of the phones via the touch screen when connected via Bluetooth is also random. Sometimes works sometimes doesn’t.

    InControl Apps also refuses to work. Mostly won’t even see a phone connected.

    So in my book, LR are entirely not out of blame in my D5.

    Previous to Phase 4 the power kept dropping out from the USB media ports. Phase 4 seems to have fixed this. I’m hoping Phase 4 18C fixes the rest.

    Funny how a car a quarter the price works perfectly well with all our phones and with CarPlay Whistle

    Yep, this is what I see when connect something to the usb’s, even Skoda does way better!!

    I have 18C installed on my D5 (Germany) - still no Smartphone Pack Activation possible, still no Carplay. It must be embarrassing for LR to see Carplay working like a charm in a 10.000 bucks Skoda Rapid.

    Maybe its different on the Range Rover, but i have the 18B software and get Android auto and iphone mirroring to work without issue?

    But you are in the UK, and JLR doesn't (want to) supply it to all European countries...

    2017 Discovery Td6 HSE Lux Santorini Black

    Had my 2017 HSE Lux updated today, and although it was a short trip home, all seems to be working well so far. Tried Apple Car Play briefly with my iPhone X and all the icons appeared and seemed to work ok. Will have more chance to try it out over the weekend,

    So 18C has fixed (so far as I can tell) all our iPhone music and connection issues.

    Works great with my new iPhone XS Max too.

    ACP works great. So much easier using Siri with the voice button on the steering wheel to set up navigation, play music, send and reply to messages. A big improvement over ICTP.

    Are you sure this doesn’t rest with the dealer not knowing what they are doing ?

    Just picked up and now have 18c installed along with ACP Mr. Green

    I like it Laughing
    So Cool being able to listen to and dictate text messages

    Got a bit of playing to do but very impressed Thumbs Up

    Done that and got almost full screen. Think I prefer the land rover screen, although Google is more 'live' and you can use the assistant i think Google display looks a little childish!!!
