Do you think a lot depends on the dealership how many vehicles JL allocates them?
And then when they have slots available the dealer picks out the most profitable models first rather than 1st come first served ?
Recently, LR have been issuing the slots to dealers, for the dealers themselves to allocate to customers. My dealer has been allocating the slots based on order date, which is encouraging, as my order has been steadily moving up the queue.
However, LR have now reverted to centrally allocating slots. Even with an honourable dealer, who knows how LR will be selecting which builds, gets slots.
The wait continues...

MY23.5
My order has been updated to MY23.5, been told that no longer is the multi height tow bar available, only option is electric deployable or removable ball hitch, they said the rear bumper is diffferent so multi height is no longer compatible. Not ideal as some of the trailers have a towing eye so no ball and pin option available, ive spoken with witter and they cant say if theres will fit until they can see a MY23.5.
Has anyone got a MY23 with a multi height fitted?

I also wanted a multi height tow bar but was told that the rear bumper is different on MY21 onwards so they are not available.

Bumper is definitely slimmer on the MY21+ with deployable towbar. My previous MY18had a definite bulge in the lower trim panel to accommodate the towbar. The MY22 is much flatter and a completely redesigned deployable towbar too.
There do seem to be notable changes in that area.

Sounds good.. Have Tyson Cooper asked you to sign something to say you won't sell the car in the first 12 months?

What they're saying is we wouldn't have got such a good discount without Tyson Cooper. To be fair it was 13.5%. You can currently only get 3% on a new order.

Yup it arrived on Monday. I guess it’s to stop people abusing the discount scheme (BASC membership in my case). I’m also expecting similar from the main dealer to say it has to be sold back to Land Rover or something similar.
To be fair it does say you can sell as long as you get their permission. I can’t see them being that tricky about it in reality as long as you had a genuine reason.
Doesn’t really bother me as I have no plans to sell.
