    Yes, five minutes watching that circle...
    But as I said, your D5 has to be connected to the internet via broadband connection (WiFi or 4G). It won't work if your car is offline.

    Yes I was connected to my phones 4G hot spot, I will again in the morning and wait a bit longer! Thumbs Up

    Looks like it works only within the UK so far. Sad (Other countries seem to get endless busy wheel when trying to activate SOTA within topix.)

    Hope they are not like Windows updates. So you you jump in the car and get the message Discovery updating, 20 minutes later still sat there watching the circle go round. Laughing

    I wonder if it specifically needs the newer 4G enabled cars. Mine supports 3G only with the data SIM I have inserted. The SIM itself of course will use 3G and 4G but the cars hardware (or maybe a software lock) only supports 3G.

    Also I am still on 18 and will get 19 after Easter.

    Oh. Perhaps if you get 4G phone signal, use phone as hotspot?

    I am currently on S19A and tried again using my phone as a 4G hotspot.

    The circle just went around for 7 minutes and then I gave up. Neutral

    I keep getting the same error too.

    Maybe it's being rolled out by VIN number or something or maybe I need 19A ?

    Popped into my dealer today, SOTA being rolled out to MY19 JLR vehicles first. Updated manually to 19A2 though which fixed the 19A Nav glitches.
