    2018 Discovery Td6 HSE Corris Grey

    360 view - wildly inaccurate??!

    Hi,

    I parked "perfectly" in a car-parking spot - the front & rear of the car were both pretty much exactly on the parking line, but, the 360 view always seems about 2ft off, and skewed, on both front & rear, making it a pretty much pointless feature!







    Does anyone else have this prob? I've got LR looking at it in a month...

    I have used mine quite a bit and never noticed anything like that.

    However I tend to use for guideance on being central in a bay with lines either side.

    No problems ever when i used it.

    Was really accurate, especially when pulling alongside a kerb .

    Could be a faulty sensor or camera maybe

    Did not use the bird view a lot, so did not pay any attention to the accuracy, but my is also inaccurate. Will be glad if you post some updates concerning the possibility of fixing.
    Here you can compare it even with the front cam. I am both lanes (front and side) inside the parking lot.

    The ones I've used have been so accurate that SWMBO has been looking through the sunroof to try and find the camera Laughing

    Oh dear - looks broke.
    It should be a perfect 360 - well it has been on mine and the loan cars I drove

    Did you get it fixed?

    Hi, I purchased my Disco 5 in 2019, its a 2017 model. I have exactly the same fault as yours is showing. The 360 camera picture is inaccurate, almost 3ft at the front and back and a couple of feet to each side.

    I did take it to the dealer and they said they were like that.

    Did you managed to get yours fixed? If so what was the fix

    Your camera module needs to be recalibrated by the dealer. I had a similar issue and that sorted it. The process itself was quick and simple, but it took some pushing for them to initially accept there was a problem.

    I gave up and was given a few hundred pounds as a goodwill gesture - they tried and tried, but failed each time. Have since sold the car and life is so much easier!!
