    I followed a D5 last week and that also only had the 3 LEDs on the outer cluster each side.

    I thought it was a awful lighting setup for such a big car Shocked

    Worth pointing out to dealers that the Centre High Mounted Stop Lamp is a standard feature, listed in the configuration.

    I wonder if this is actually some snafu linked to implementation of the tow electrics, where it is thinking that the electrics are connected, when they are not - some of the rear lights should not operate when trailer electrics are plugged in.

    No news from the dealer yet but I have just managed to do more miles in the Range Rover I was loaned that I have in my own car. Not looking forward to filling it with fuel later Sad

    B3 shows the correct operation of the stop lamp for the UK market on high line vehicles. The high mounted stop lamp should also illuminate.

    There is a socking great high level light at the top of the tailgate. Is the complaint that that is not coming on, or just that the side cluster stop lamp is so small?

    The picture came from the Workshop Manual.

    I think the view is that the boot segment should illuminate?

    Might be a North American thing. I'll have to check and will post the diagram that explains what each light segment does too.

    North American stop light operation is different, using multiple segments, However, this also acts as the indicator light too.

    So, section 4 should be lit on HSE and HSE Lux vehicles in the UK, as rear sidelight,
