  Open with boot button -> plank stays up.
  
  Open by any other means (keyfob, kick, driver's button) -> plank down.
  
  At least this is the case in my my20 ...

• Which engine? The ingenium engines, even in Velar, are reported to have a balance shaft issue. Compared to that the oil dilution is just a minor inconvenience.
