Possibly because the Metropolitan also is the only RDynamic version to get a silver grill and silver lettering too?
I am lucky, my Metropolitan is Hakuba Silver....

The biggest issue with the Defender 130 is literally in the word BIG. It is so long that it will not fit in any UK parking spaces and still isn't as roomy inside as a D5.
If JLR do rely on that ...

Just remember in some countries it's a legal requirement to have a spare wheel for the car if you are towing....Germany for example.
