Check it is enabled via the menu from the steering wheel. Although, it seems to deactivate after an ignition cycle for me. As a result I don’t use it or miss it, used a couple of times for fun

If you have ruled out stones, etc. Other things could be a problem with the pads or possibly the air suspension pump. Worth checking wheel bolts are tight as well.

For reference, I use the mounting hole positions on the inside edge of the roof rails (I just centre the bars on these). Turns out they are 700mm apart which is exactly what the top box wants.
